The Pitts - 9 years later retrospective

So after seeing the Fox 25th anniversary, I reminisced back to some earlier Fox shows that were forgotten.

The Pitts to me was always this live action sitcom with cartoon physics. I haven't seen such bizarre hijinks since BBC's "The Young Ones". That was a sitcom where one character gets decapitated(head out window), and his body walks around to find him.

The Pitts is similar. If you turn your brain off for 30 minutes, you'll have a great time. It's a welcome change from the usual crop of sitcoms we get every fall, with our without Kelsey Grammar.

It's too bad it got canceled so soon. It's more creative than most other sitcoms we are usually subject to.

I watched a couple of episodes on YouTube because the VHS that I recorded the episodes on effing SNAPPED and I am not *AS* fond of it, mostly because of the overbearing laughtrack but it still made me laugh a lot, I really really wish this show could've lasted more than just one season, even if it was for only two seasons.

10 years later and it STILL remains one of Fox's biggest blunders.
Trust me, if it weren't for Mike Scully and having The Simpsons on his resume, this show would've been passed over in an instant.
