USC 55
OU 21
OU is lucky Pete didn't pull a Bob Stoops and throw Hail Mary plays with twenty seconds left or whatever. The Trojans actually give their backups what they were told when they signed scholarships. Please do not make me go into statistics for the game heh.
Fight on, Trojans!

Mack Brown ran the score up on u guys and u say we suck u need to check that aggie defense, WHOA! they held us in check oh no wait they didn't and how bout that offense too, and even though i'm a longhorn i'm gonna give the Sooners props cuz they run a good respectable program 77 - 0 u aggies are lucky Bob Stoops didn't want it to be 177 - 0, i don't think the aggies have much more fight in them.....HOOK 'EM HORNS !..!

well, i'm sure andre peterson (whoever he is) had a great game, but i think you mean adrian peterson. and you're right. there's no difference between a 77 point shutout and a 12 point shutout. except about 65 points.
like every aggie, you resort to the "we're better than you because we beat somebody you haven't beaten (lately)" argument.
here's some more trivia for you: who beat A&M in the last year alone?
A) Texas
B) Oklahoma
C) Baylor
D) All of the above
You guessed it.

i can predict that it is going to be awesome in aggieland. see u thanksgiving

Yeah, ur right that A&M got beat down by OU. So im guessing TU must beat OU every year. O, wait, TU is on like a 5 or 6 year losing streak to OU. If Mack Brown is SO great, why doesn't he actually worry about beating OU for once instead of just trying to grab all the best Runningbacks he can get his hands on.
GIG EM AGGIES!
treebranch,
like every aggie, you somehow manage to derive pride from the accomplishments of other schools. OU has beaten Texas the last five years running; then again, a&m has lost to Texas the last five years running, also (come to think of it, the only time a&m beat UT in my recent memory is when major applewhite got the flu, and we had to start a freshman quarterback in college station, in one of the most poorly-officiated games i've ever seen).
i also get a kick out of the whole "tu" thing; as if we cease to be THE University of Texas just because a bunch of knuckleheads with moderate SAT scores and a mediocre athletic program get the name wrong. come to think of it, Y'ALL are the ones with your names spelled wrong all over your uniforms--what the hell is aTm, anyway?

punky, i want to talk smack to you, but you're just so nice and sincere...i can't bring myself to do it.
good luck this year (until november).

O yeah, because aggie fans are the only people who use other schools accomplishments. Do you know how many times i hear the chant at school down the hallway, "77 to 0! A&M sux!" I believe OU beat us at that score, not TU. But yet it was Longhorn fans screaming that at me. So all college football fans use other peoples accomplishments all the time, not just A&M fans.

Oklahoma in fact beat Missouri 77-0, in a 1986 game. I was a big college football fan then (it was my freshman year in college btw), and do remember hearing that. I don't remember them ever beating Texas A+M by that score, but maybe they did in a recent season (I've rather lost contact with college football in recent years, except for the big bowl games). But about that and Maverick95's posting here, Southern California did indeed beat Oklahoma in the January 4, 2005 Orange Bowl, the BCS championship game, to win the 2004 national title, but it was 55-19. I did see that game completely in my regular sports bar. But look up OU's 1986 results and you will see a 77-0 win over Missouri.

A&M sucks and so does your gay coach Dennis Jabroni...
ROLL TIDE
one might guess from my user id that i'm no fan of a&m, but certainly alabama fans have no room to criticize. i've never seen a program that has managed to get itself into so much trouble with the ncaa while at the same time remaining so mediocre. at least miami, ohio state, and even smu managed to put together good programs with all their recruiting violations.

We were on our way to having a good program again until our coach snuck away in the middle of the night. I would have no problem with Dickhead Francione if he'd had the balls to tell his players to their face that he was leaving. Instead, he just disappeared, and the players had to find out second hand. I have absolutely nothing against Texas A&M as a whole, but their coach is a coward. I don't hope they lose every game, but I hope they lose every championship game under his command.
sharewell, the odds of the aggies playing in any championship games anytime soon aren't that great. i'll totally agree that franchione did his players wrong; i've heard he talked a lot of guys who were planning on declaring for the draft into staying, and then split without saying anything.

Franchione screwed up by ditching Bama, ok, but if history serves the Aggies right he'll turn them around. That's all I care about at this point. I haven't seen a year even remotely in the vicinity of being in the same ballpark as halfway decent since a guy named Dat Nguyen was playing linebacker, and even then TAMU couldn't win the bowl games they played in(Sugar bowl 1999). I had my hopes up last year when The Ags made the Cotton Bowl but then they blew that. I love Texas A&M and I will til the day I die but sometimes faith equals frustration in Aggieland so Franchione's got his self a big task that he definently can't run away from now.
shareI've got some great memories of Dat Nguyen also.
My favorite one is when Ricky Williams ran him over on his way to a 66-yard run, a touchdown, and the NCAA rushing record.
I get misty-eyed every time I think about it.

Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck.
Way to handle Baylor in overtime. I knew you guys would get your revenge. What's with all the upside down longhorn hand signals? (you're playing Baylor, not UT) Enjoy that nonsense while you can, because when the Horns come to town, you're not going to have many opportunities for it.
What a garbage football team. You should never have fired RC Slocum.
Y'all can go to hell. . .I'm goin' to Texas
The bottom line is that zero defense (which is what we have now with Franchione) + and an extremely small amount of offense = NO RECRUITING
With OU sucking up the majority of great Texas blue chippers the last few years, and Texas getting what they forgot (QB? Vince Young) TAMU has only two groups to recruit from. One: the leftovers, and Two: Alumni's Kids
Captain Bevo,
I completely agree! RC at least had us playing defense and we were competitive. I freakin' hate Franchione...I almost hope we suck this year so he'll get canned. Anyway, if we don't make a bowl playing Citadel, Army, LA Tech, and LA Monroe I might have to quit watching all together. Our freakin' basketball team is good! What the hell? I feel like a Duke fan...waiting for November...Well, good luck to Texas...maybe we can do our part and make that Thanksgiving game worth playing again.
12-7
