Who would you cast if Coupling got another Chance in America?

I've seen similar humor played out in American shows, so it is potentially possible for coupling to work in America. I see elements of Barney Stinson in Patrick and some of the humor that Colin Fergusen tried to portray in the American coupling. With better casting, better writing and less interfering from the network it would be great to have an American coupling again done right.
Maybe do it like they did the Office. Mimick the characters and script but don't make carbon copies.
