He'd been shot in the shootout occurring in the aftermath of Wong's death. It is a little unclear, as the shoot out appears quite abbreviated and I don't think you see him get hit.
shareI thought to start with that he'd been poisoned and that was why he was driving erratically but then I noticed the blood on his belly and realised he'd been shot.
shareKeung has not been shown getting shot in the shoot out. But he sweats a sickly lot while driving, and after the car has crashed, it shows that he is bleeding severely from the belly.
