GET THIS BACK IN THE TOP250

Give it a 10, and put it back where it deserves to be. In the Top 250.

Come on! Departed's in there. This should definitely be.

reply

It's #250 today. I'm surprised that this isn't much higher, along with several other films. And I also think Departed was great. It deserves a high spot.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.

reply

Yes, this movie must have a better rank than departed.

Long is the way And hard, that out of Hell leads up to light.

Sadly, that will never be the case.

HAHA, that's true.

reply

infernal affairs is much better than departed. seriously, this is a great movie!

EL-OH-EL

IA is awesome. The Departed is a pretty darn good film too, but with both films using essentially the same plot, IA does it a little bit better for me (but then again, i did see IA first).

So yeah, get this bitch right back in there!

Arses & sh-ite

A few days after the original post, it came back in at #250.(Though I'm not taking credit)
Just a couple o' days later, and it's fallen out again.

Has something new popped in to make it pop out?
Has it been given some bollox ratings by some demented Departed devotees?

It started as a request... A sort of unification of Infernal Affairs fans.

But NOW, it's a bloody campaign.

GET THIS BACK IN THE TOP250.

Contact your friends. Even the friends you meet through friends, exchange phone numbers and never contact. Now's the time. So what if you have to share an uncomfortable beer with them, or listen to their tone-deaf son, Jimmy, play his ukelele, you will have done Infernal Affairs a favour. And I, for one, would thank you for that. Not personally, of course.

reply

sigh,
super remake my a**

departed only remake and copy paste the infernal affairs 1 with lower quality

reply

because it's a worse movie.

All great and precious things are lonely.

reply

I'm more pissed that when I search for Infernal Affairs, The Departed's name comes up first. What the hell? Is there a way for Imdb to fix this? It doesn't feel right when the awful remake's name pops up first. That's really stealing the originals thunder.

reply

Bad acting? Are u *beep* deluded? I can't stand Mark Wahlberg but even he did a great job in the film. I'm not even gonna dignify what you said about Nicholson and DiCaprio with an answer.

What's this crap about a campaign to get this movie into the top 250. I think it's great that there are good movies that aren't in the top 250. It basically means that there are films worth watching that aren't the top 250 ever made but are still great. Drop this crap.

I watched The Departed before I saw Infernal Affairs for the first time, and I still thought that IA was the better movie.

that is exactly what happend to me!

reply

right now, its at no. 229, i hope its gonna reach even high position.

reply

Yes because the ratings on here make a movie. Come on. Who cares if a movie has a low rating on here. It's like the oscars...it don't mean sh!t.

reply

Threads like this one are one of the main reasons the top 250 has turned to rubbish.

People relentlessly champion films they like rather than just letting nature take its course. If it's good enough, it will find its way in.

How about people give it the rating THEY feel it deserves, then it will TRULY be 'where it deserves to be'.

Never defend crap with: "It's just a movie"
