Where was Lana ? (spoilers)

So let me get this right - after Lana gets thrown of the cliff, the boy gets arrested, then "Nicole" comes forward, they release the boy. He goes home, has a revelatory conversation with Nicole calls the police - then Lana chooses to appear. Pretty poor timing as it turns out, eh ?

Lana would have been best off going to the police herself rather than confronting her stepson.

yeah you could say that in hindsight,, but Lana didn't know about Nicole so, i think she was trying to get back at him when she showed up.
