Did anyone notice that the infamous Brian Kinney shell bracelet (which originally belonged to Gale) was on the girl with the long brown hair?? I wonder why....

reply

That's interesting-- I didn't notice that.

I know QAF made those VERY popular, and that the popularity led to many non-QAF fans buying them because there were so many around... I can't read much significance into it because the women were pretty irrelevant except that they took the vehicle intended for the road trip.

I believe that bracelet belonged to Gale before he even did QAF, he just happened to wear it to the show and it became Brian Kinney's, perhaps Gale loaned it to the props people?

The Brian Kinney style shell bracelet was part of the naturalistic fad in the 1970s. That is, wearing things straight from nature or out of natural materials. I'm sure people who lived in coastal areas like Hawaii have been wearing them even longer than that.

Most things worn by an actor/character were worn by others first. And will worn long after the fad or the actor/character fades from memory.
