Impressive, but also not for everyone.

It's not at all what the average viewer is used to and most I'd bet could never make it through the entire film but it's not made for everyone. It's obviously a film to help show the what these amazing creatures have went through, what these people went through, and what these animals are capable of good, and bad. I liked that most about the film. It's not just some disney cartoon filling kids heads with fiction.

I was really impressed with how they shot the scenes, you always felt these were real animals, you felt their pain and pleasure. You also got an understanding of what the villagers went through when there was a tiger in the are. I mean tigers have killed hundreds of thousands of people throughout history, no joke. If we didn't have guns, tigers would look completely different today. They would just be monsters, but we do have guns today and we're encroaching and now we're the monsters. Tiger numbers are so far down that realistically all sub-species of tiger will be extinct very soon at this rate and that's just unacceptable. Imagine a world where they just didn't exist anymore and they're no more real than dinosaurs. You'd think we learned our lesson with the Thylacine.

But anyway, back to the movie. It doesn't have a lot of that powerful music and pull that you get from something like "african cats" which is a great film but if you're into big cats and history then you may like it. It's just an odd movie to me, but I'm glad it was made.
