Worst movie. Ever.

I saw this piece of crap and had a personal grudge with it. First things first...
Danny Provenzano was not only horrible as his wanna-be ruthless maniac/I don't give a *beep* about anything character; but was horrrible as a director. His blatant Martin Scorsese techniques were appearant. Paying homage to a great director is one thing, this was just bad. The scene where they are meeting at the Chineese restaraunt and telling that stupid story, went on for days. Those actors just couldn't carry that scene. The head FBI agent was already addressed in the "review" section, need I say more?

Some good points: Pat Cooper was good. Jimmy Caan is.... well, Jimmy Caan.

It looks like the movie took a lot of dough to make. Using high profile acotrs, nice cars, and elaborate sets doesn't necessarily mean a good movie. Any kind of budget doesn't make up for a good story line and good acting.

Okay, this is my first post.......................
Everyone has their opinions. Personally, I loved the movie. Sure, it didn't have a lot of action, but it was still a good movie.
Not a very fulfilling post..................

Maybe not the worst movie ever, but pretty damn bad.
It kind of works as a comedy if you look at how generic it is!

I cant never get why so many people are down on this film. And the director.I really liked This Thing of Ours. I have seen it so many times. I thought it was a great film. It had great music/ locations/actors/and directed and writen great. I think for a first time director Mr.Provenzano did great on all fronts. WIth the writing for sure i mean alot of the ideas and lines in this movie where crazy good most great movies have a line that just sticks out after you see it. But with this movie its like every other line is one of those stick with you lines .Brought togeather a great cast alot of them you know by name. But also gave alot of people a shot to be in a big movie. And by the way if you didnt know Dannys out and is gonna be making a new movie called Brick City. I have been lucky enough to talk to Mr.Provenzano he is a nice and down to earth fella.

Cant wait till Brick City is out..

I think those who dislike this movie aren't really watching it. The scam they came up with was brilliant, and exactly the way something of that nature would have been viewed by the old timers who know nothing of the electronic world. Look at it for what it is supposed to be, not what you think it should have been.

"worst movie ever" is actually a compliment for this trash. A wasted 45min (could not even watch the whole movie--yes it's that bad)..

The title is the English translation of La Cosa Nostra. And as for the others who didn't like it, my only guess is the only thing they know of the Mafia is what they've seen in the Godfather! I wonder if any of them can articulate what they didn't like about it? Having worked white collar/organized crime investigations, this was pretty spot on.
