Did this movie use the 3D glasses found in theatres today with full colors? I'm wondering because I can't think of any other nationwide release doing so in 2003 or prior.
On the dvd he mentions they only released it in modern (dark real 3d type) in limited theatres because they're wasn't that many around back then, the rest of the theatres (most) used the old style red/blue glasses. Sometime hopefully we'll see a release on blu-ray using modern shutter glasses for a far better effect. The dvd has a horrible transfer that makes the 3d look far worse than it should. Shame because the 2dvd set has a good commentary and behind the scenes features.
