I used to watch this film a lot when I was younger and it was one of my favourites because it had to do with video games. I always liked video games so I thought this was really awesome. I never liked the other Spy Kids films... only this one.
If you are under 12 you might appreciate this. If you're older then you should try something more mature... at least that's what I'd suggest.
I did not watch this in 3D by the way, so I can't comment on that.
I used to watch this too, and it was so epic back then. Nowadays, I reckon older people like myself should just revel in the good feelings that came from this epic kid's film, and not treat it like it was made to win oscars and globals.

Exactly. Watched this with friends constantly with the 3-D glasses when it was still relatively new. Just watched it tonight for the first time in probably ten years and it's very "meh" now. In hindsight I probably would've preferred my warm, fuzzy (emphasis on the word "fuzzy") memory of it rather than my refreshed perception of it..
