The journey seems to start in Grand Rapids, Michigan, U.S.A. and goes to the "North Pole"
-- though this movie erroneously places the polar city (the "North Pole") just within the Arctic Circle (in reality, the Arctic Circle is exactly half way between the city of Grand Rapids and the North Pole -- and in Canada).
