yeah. tommy's voice and ray liotta's voice are so similar and the whole voice-over thing feels ripped straight from Scorsese's flick.

sharehonestly... i don't think Mafia is like Goodfellas as i think Mafia feels more like 'Road to Perdition' (2002) (a masterpiece!) then it does 'Goodfellas' which feels more 'raw'.
Mafia has the sophistication of something like 'Road to Perdition' or 'The Godfather' more than something like Goodfellas. but i do feel some of the 'characters' in Mafia can be Goodfellas like at times.
so don't get me wrong... i am going by overall feel/tone of the films as to how i made my comparisons.
but i would not be surprised if a lot of gangster films in general had some influence on the game.
