Mafia is surely one of those games that will make most people let go a few tears sometimes. Such good moments in this one. Here you can post and talk about games that really hit your emotions.

Games that really made me let go a few tears:
MAFIA - Had pretty many moments in this one
MAX PAYNE 2 - The ending made me release a few tears
SPLINTER CELL 2 - Pandora Tomorrow - The ending made me release a few tears for some reason
KING KONG - This one's end also made me cry almost
Devil May Cry 3 - Brilliant ending!
LOST PLANET - Another good ending
Rogue Trooper - Good ending
HALF-LIFE 2 - Episode Two - Loved the ending
STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords - A long game, i was proud in the end
CALL OF DUTY 4 - Modern Warfare - Awesome ending
STRANGLEHOLD - This one also had some good moments
JERICHO - Good ending in my opinion

Wow, really? I do have FAR CRY 2, haven't experienced any sad moments yet. Guess I haven't gotten so far in the game yet.

Metal Gear Solid for the playstation or GC (no diffrence except gameplay and graphics) either ending is great. Game is so amazing. Had great times with it when I had it for the playstation.

while i did not let any 'tears' out... the 'feeling' you get from playing Mafia is a experience you can't get in ANY other game to date. it's in it's own class as you actually LIKE the characters (not just some but damn near all of them) in Mafia unlike the vast majority of other games that feel lifeless etc.

Great topic - I love me an emotional game.

HEAVY RAIN—the story isn't too fantastic when you boil it down, but it's all about how it's told, and emotions were probably the main focus of the game.

Also FAHRENHEIT/INDIGO PROPHECY is in the same vein—story gets completely ridiculous towards the end, but it has very powerful, emotional moments that you won't forget. Haven't played the third game by Quantic Dream, OMIKRON: THE NOMAD SOUL, yet, but maybe it's a tear-jerker as well.

AMBER: THE JOURNEY BEYOND—if you can get past the sometimes cheesy supernatural stuff, it has some very touching stories. (I especially remember the WWII one).

SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS

I'm sure I played more, but I can't think of them right now. I haven't played all of the ones you mentioned, but I will be looking forward to.
