I usually like her..but she was terrible in this movie. Between the dumb expressions and the random smiling it was so annoying and cliche. Also all her lines were nauseating I couldnt stand to listen to them..even though thats not really her fault

Drew Barrymore was the only thing I hated about this movie. When she got on the bike and said, "Vroom vroom", I wanted to vomit. The father/son relationship and all the poker were great. Drew and the love story really dragged this film down at times.

I'm glad I am not the only one who thought she was terrible in this movie. Her acting was very forced and I couldn't stand to watch her scenes. She's usually great in 'Chick Flick' movies, so I wonder what went wrong for her here?

She wasn't horrible per se, she was just miscast. A bit like Robin Williams in August Rush.

I must say I enjoyed Drew in this movie. I was glad to see her playing something other than ditzy. One more thing, I thought she looked great in the scene at the apartment with little or no make-up.

Something other than ditzy??

Drew Barrymore was a complete dumb ass throught the whole movie. She was god awful and didnt belong. Even her character pissed me off, I dont know who was worse. Everyone else was great, especially Duval

I am just watching this right now for the first time. I missed the first hour of this movie. I love Drew but in this movie I keep thinking about what is wrong with her acting. All the part without her in it so far were the best parts. Ouch!

Drew Barrymore has no talent. She made this movie unwatchable. She talks out the side of her face and gives nothing to her part.

I don't mean to harp on it but she just isn't believable in anything she does. Has she ever done a role that isn't herself? Same thing for Cameron Diaz. At least Charlize Theron plays characters that don't share her personality.

Hated her in this role so so bad. Also the way her character is so high and mighty combined with her acting just made me want to throw the T.V out the window.

Such a good actress, what a waste, can't believe she took this role. Any half brain could have played it.
