EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION

I saw this on the ENCORE NETWORKS "TRUE STORIES" channel several days ago. Though it was the first time I had seen this piece I knew most of the info contained in it from reading Joseph McBride's book.(he was also one of the interviewees)I guess the writers and producer did not want a John Ford schmooze fest so they added Oliver Stone. Now I know he is entitled to his opinion and John Ford would be the first to say he would defend to his death the right to express it, but I wonder what he would have said personally? Probably could not have been repeated in polite company

I like much of Oliver Stone's work. As a point, but not a comparison: just like Hitler's pretty watercolors seems incongrous with the man's nature, so I do not care for Stone the man. Regardless, in this documentary, Stone comes off as a jealous elementary freshman who cannot say enough to belittle and demonize his upper (and superior) classmate.
