This was filmed in NY right? or am i just lost here?

Yeah it was in New York. It was mentioned in the movie

Most of it was filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Other than the subway scenes, and one obvious shot of the NY skyline, everything else looked pretty familiar as Halifax. Dalhousie University stood in for Harvard.

I'm thinking either Brooklyn or maybe the Bronx.
