Honestly tired of seeing both mentally ill people + lesbians (im in both categories) being only used as plot devices & shock value.. :)))

wow what a highly logical piece of advice. i love horror and i believe the genre can benefit from more thought and less relying on those redundant, stereotyping tropes.

I'm sure serial killers, rapists, and poltergeists are tired of being used as plot devises too, but you don't hear them complaining. Just watch a movie with the knowledge that unless it's a documentary, it's fiction.
