Can someone explain the beheaded woman in the beginning please?

If Marie was the killer then did she behead the woman in the beginning of the film when Marie and Alex are driving?

It's not possible to make sense of that scene... you have to think of that scene as "an example of the maniacal thoughts going on in her mind"...

this film had such amazing potential to be an all-time classic "nailbiter"... but the twist ruined it all.

the trivia section says it was Alex head. So I since Marie was horny that day (masturbating at night) I believe she imagined that scene, receiving a blowjob from Alex

I could tell that it was the actresses head. I 100% agree that it was all her imagination.

That was Marie's weird dream and the formation of the killer in her mind.

Added to that,it was also the introduction of the killer in the story of the movie.
