i LOVE this movie..i watch it every chance i can whether on cable or dvd. i havent seen or been to the ride in Disneyland/World..but some things get me tho. first..who was it in the crypt with the key that Jim disturbed? i could never tell if it was Elizabeth or Ramsey. also...about Madame Leota. why is it that she, or her head rather, was trapped in a crystal ball reading otherworldy fortunes? why did she not move on with the other ghosts at the end? and finally, what was with the singing busts? were they actual ghosts or just enchanted or something? perhaps their spirits were trapped in the busts and they were to sing for eternity? wonder why Ramsley was so evil. how did Gracey and Elizabeth meet? sorry for so many questions..this is just an awesome movie. this sooo deserves fan fiction or a fan site. thanks :)

I enjoyed the Nostalgia Critic's review of this movie well enough, it's actually kind funny since I remember back in 2012 (when he was doing his phase of planning to discontinue NC) thinking that The Haunted Mansion would be a perfect movie for him to review.

However, my only gripe with the review is that he keeps saying that The Haunted Mansion needs to be rebooted as a computer-animated feature like Frozen or Tangled. It's not that I don't like computer-animation, it's just that Disney already has Pixar doing such movies, and they haven't done a Goddamned animated move since the disappointing end of the Disney Renaissance and the Princess and the Frog. Personally I think traditional animation can be visually compelling but better at capturing darkness than maybe computer animation.

Can't be too careful with all those weirdos running around.
