Where's all the Gram Parsons music?

I enjoyed this movie, even though it seems like it is just touching the surface of what really happened. (That's a nice way of saying that the real story seemed darker, richer - and just might have been better).

But, unless I missed something, I counted ONE Gram Parsons song - it was during the cremation scene.

What a shame. It was missing an entire flavor I was expecting to taste.
What was a Springsteen song doing in this?

It should have been shot with the same lovely melancholy like his music. The story/script had it. This director thought he was shooting a straight-to-DVD comedy...

We couldn't really get the rights - the family were initially unsure about the way we were going to handle things and weren't prepared to let us use Gram's stuff - although they later decided that they really enjoyed the film.

Bruce read the script, loved it and gave us Blood Brothers for a vastly reduced sum.

I'm pleased you enjoyed the film - thank you for your feedback.

Jdrysdale, you have nothing to do with this production. Go create something of your own to talk about.

Well, I did write it. But otherwise, your point is well made...

Ummmm.. You're kidding right? Let's see-

"Thousand Dollar Wedding" - Gram Parsons
"Return Of The Grievous Angel" -Gram Parsons
"A Song For You" -Gram Parsons
"Hot Burrito #2" written by Gram Parsons

Did you expect a bunch of Byrds songs or something? Oh and the song "love hurts" that is playing on the jukebox at "Paleonix Place" is a duet by Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris"

It's not a movie about Parsons, it's about the aftermath of his passing. Read up.
