Does anybody know what is happening to this film? I'm a big fan of Matthew Rhys and the plot outline sounds great. I saw a trailer on the films website that looks really cool but I couldn't get the sound to work on my computer!!!!If anyone knows anything can they contact me??? Please???
This film is about to have its Market Premiere at AFM, and Festival Premiere at the Bangkok Film Festival, after these events more information should be released on the future Theatrical Release.
Where did you see the film? What was Matthew like?? Why wasn't it very good? Come on a bit more information please.... You can't just leave it like that!!!
I have also seen this film, and have to say that I think it is one of the freshest british films that has/will be released in ages. The Story line twists and turns lize the amazon, the characters are, for the most part, as deep as the pacific, and the set pieces are aas tight as a nats arse.
Given that the director is so young (I believe 24)this shows what great promise the fledging british film industry has.
Mathew, I have to say, along with Tom and the rest of the cast, turn out star performances. He's not someone I'd heard of before, but will be looking out for him in the future.
I hope it does well at AFM, and look forward to it's release!!
Let's see this as the begining of the end for the dodgy brit flick!!
the sales company ( who sell the film to territories around the world ), and are called Content, have recently taken over a UK company called Winchester, and are renaming their company Content Film Plc ( I believe ).
It has been strongly suggested that the film will be released in the UK on about 150 screens.....through Content Film PLC
With all due respect Paul Rushforth is somewhat biased by the fact that he worked on the film. So please don't act so coy, you know exactly how old Richard Janes is.
That aside, the production has to be credited with getting such a product off the ground in the current state of the British Film Industry.
I had the pleasure of reading the script in pre-production and therefore would like to see how the end result fairs, personally it was not my cup of tea, but then neither was Love Actually and look how well that has done.
I don't think this is the beginning of the end for the dodgy brit flick though as this is not a big enough step away from the norm. A zom-rom-com is more likely to enact that.
Man have we seen the same film????What planet r u on? Characters-deep....hahaha...that must be a joke. Or r u bias as u were working on the film...or....u r as dees as those characters
I agree with blame_thatcher. There was nothing intelligent about this film. It was so predictable-I wanted to pull my hair out. This film lacked in energy-big time!!! Save yourselves money people…don’y bother
