Wild strawberries

Tbis seems incredibly similar to Bergman's Wil strawberries.

Anyone out there can verify this, I havent seen it

I haven't seen Wild Strawberries either but when i mentioned to my local video genius about this movie he told me i should see the 'original' Wild Strawberries (which confused me at the time because i thought this was written by Carl Bessai).
So in short, yeah apparently it's just like it.

Emile is apparently 'based' on Ingmar Bergman's screenplay for Wild Strawberries so the similarities will definately be there. Carl Bessai has simply re-imagined that script for year 2003 audiences.

I'm confused - if you haven't seen Wild Strawberries, how can you say that Emile is "incredibly similar" to it?

Regardless, it actually is a lot like Wild Strawberries. It's not nearly the masterpiece that Bergman brought to the screen but then again, what is? Wild Strawberries is literally one of the top 10 movies of all time.

Woody Allen also stole the premise for Deconstructing Harry.
