Yeah there are. Anyone remember "Slingblade" where the friendly small town child and his mother invites a murderous mentally challenged stranger to come and live with them?
I never expected Danny Deckchair to be anything but a light comedy. I see no reason to analyze it although I would have preferred if they left out all the scenes after his chair lands. I really liked it up until that point.
