humour is human nature, subject matter is not the point!!!

i admit that this is some pretty disturbing and violent stuff. and it is degrading to the homeless and unfortunate. but everybody is missing it here: we as humans all have differnt things which make us laugh. the reason why this was and still is so popular is that alot of us (majority of teens) find this sort of thing funny, including me. im not saying i dont feel for the people in the video, i do. but at the end of the day we cant change what does and what doesnt make us laugh.

I thought it was hillarious, especially the "Bum Hunter" Steve Irwin parody!

My whole problem with the outrage over this is that the homeless people were (for the most part) willing participants. They are adults and able to make their own decisions. To say they can't is to basically say they're children who don't know what they're doing, which is pretty insulting. People get paid money to take a beating in boxing or MMA - what's the difference. Some people even pay good money to be degraded and abused by a dominatrix - do they also need some kind of outside defender who knows what's good for them too?

Of course not, so the people who are offended need to just move on and get a hobby. The producer going on Dr. Phil being kicked out for dressing like Dr. Phil is a good example. All he did was point out that he exploits people just as much as bumfights - if not even worse because it's 5 days a week, on national TV, he gets paid very well for it, and also pushes his wife/sons new products on the show all the time. The line between that and bumfights is razor thin, despite what bored housewives with nothing better to do would have you believe...
