Is it so easy to access a Swiss Bank account?

So Amy (the nurse) finds this swiss bank account number and password. There is 5 million in the account, (the second payment I suppose) First do Swiss banks allow transfer of that amount online with no voice or other confirmation in writing?
So she transfers the five million to where...her local bank in Blackpole? Or she opens up her own swiss account?

I did not see Franks bank acount to transfer it into...there would have had to been TWO accounts and passwords for nurse amy to play around with for that.
One of the many plot holes.

Another side note..the president is doing an old fashioned "whistlestop" campaign using cars instead of a train through Texas, next door to New Mexico. Its on tv every 5 minutes. The Sheriff does not know this....maybe he hates tv and poltics, never reads newspapers, or even talks to people about current events. Strange.

The presidents motorcade is diverted to Blackpole because of an accident. The motercade will not go off the road around it because they are afraid of getting stuck in the sand????

Anyhow it was fun.

As for the bank account question no you cannot transfer that amount of money online... Depending on the bank the max transfer limit is 1000 - 10,000. Transfer of 5 million dollars would be a very strenous process consisting of alot of paper work and identifcation checks. If all checks out then there could be a waiting time for a transaction to be processed of upto a week. But tbh if your transferring thisa amount it would be prioritised, and in any case alot of the banks in Switzerland are specifically designed for the higher classes so everything would have been dun pretty quick...

It could be that all the paper work has already been done and the internet thing was just verification.

Who would have a password printed on a business card? Pretty dumb!

What was shown was a numbered account (created precisely for the very purpose of maximising anonymity and minimising the paper trail), presumably at a private bank catering specifically to ultra-high net worth individuals. To transfer the money out is certainly as easy as shown.

Now, where she was transferring the money TO is a good question. Five million arriving from Switzerland into a nurse's bank account of some backwater bank in 'Blackhole', TX would definitely cause all sorts of investigation at the receiving end.

The whole point of a Swiss bank account is that they dont ask questions like a normal account (else what would be the point), if you have the account number and the password or security check (depending on how you set it up) you can wire transfer up to the amount you have in the account to where ever you want it in seconds.
