Is this a National Lampoon movie??
I remember seeing in a bargain bin a movie with Vince Vaughn, connected with National Lampoon's name here in the U.S. Is this that film??

shareI thought too but can't seem to find any links like you.
I can't seem to find any reference to it being a National Lampoon film.
But yes Vince Vaugh is in the film as a twatty cliche American. He has had better roles but I think where it is a British film the purposely made him a dick as payback for all of the crappy cliche English people.
To answer your question yes it is that film.
This is indeed the same film. For some unknown reason, it was marketed in the US as a National Lampoon film (which it isn't, in either style or creative team) starring Vince Vaughan (who actually only has quite a small character role).
Sent a letter to mom and dad, "Mom and dad, the money's running out"
Yeah i saw the it while looking around in the video store and it does say its a national lampoon movie starring Vince Vaughn.
shareYes this is a National Lampoon Movie, I just received it from the National Lampoon Movie Club.
sharewhy do americans have to change and/or ruin everything that is made in england?
shareIn America the cover clearly states the movie as "National Lampoon's Blackball". Howver the film was made as just "Blackball" in the UK. I think basically it has been marketed in America because this is something they are familier with and with the nature of the film being bowls. However I feel it doesn't fit into the "feel" of a National Lampoon movie, whilst a brilliant comedy film it's in a leauge of it's own.
shareThis is NOT a NatLamp movie. Maybe Matty Simmons kicked in some moola to have it distributed here, but it truly is not stupid enough to be a NatLampCo movie. One thing I did like was that they had an actual 'merican play the sleazy sports agent, rather than a Brit talking through his nose or with a put-on suthrun accent. BTW, I thought Zellweger's accent in Frigid Jones sucked right back. Let's see a Yank do a West Country, or a Brum accent. Posh-speak is too easy, and don't even get me started on Mike "I'm really funny" Myers
shareNO. The wankers added NatLamp for marketing purposes....
It would have a much higher IMDB rating if it hadn't been. Kept people who would otherwise have watched it from doing so, and caused people looking for stupidity to watch and rate it.
