Where Is A Copy?

I don't think any copies are available for sale. The Academy is VERY protective of their ceremonies. I found my copy (and bid a fortune for it!) on ebay-- of all places!! This was several years ago when you could still trade the shows there. They have since stopped the practice. I've written a review of the show above. Good luck in your search.

I also have a copy of the 25th annual academy awards. As mentioned, it puts todays shows wanting. All the presenters were former winners. A favorite of mine, Gloria Grahame, won supporting actress award. I wish the speeches today were as short as the one she gave, just a thank you. Then they celebrated with having former winners shown with their oscars. I loved that on the 70th and 75th, but who knows why they didn't do it on the 80th.

Also, have a copy of the 27th annual academy awards. That year, they had the awards presented by all the acting nominees. Speeches were short and they didn't have to bring a list to read of whom to thank.

Wish I could find copies of the 26th, 28th etc.
