bizarre show - but funny!

I picked these up for a good price on ebay and was kind of surprised by them. Don't get me wrong - I am a big Simon Nye fan (I have all of Men Behaving Badly as well as the new Reggie Perrin and the one-off he did called "Beauty") - and I'm very fond of Dawn French.

I was sorta surprised at this very odd series. It's funny and it's strange. I'm not precisely sure what the point is but I don't much care because it makes my mother and I laugh. (I guess it also reads as the "other side of Doc Martin" since it's set in Cornwall. The outside shots are breathtaking, which only makes the rest of it more bizarre.)

I don't get it... but I like it.
