I somehow vaguely remember a GI Joe episode or movie that involved three cores-one red, one yellow, and one blue-but I do not remember much else about it. There might have also been a secret or underwater base involved. Does anyone recognize this?
shareI think you are referring to the 5 episode miniseries A Real American Hero, where Cobra's MASS Device (teleportation beam) neaded three elements to work. There was gold metorite dust from a South American volcano (yellow one), heavy water from the deepest trench of the ocean floor (blue one), and radioactive crystals from the Arctic Circle (red one). The three elements were stored in glass core-like tubes.

shareThat's the 5 part pilot for G.I. Joe, called G.I. Joe: The MASS Device. There was another 5 part mini series after that called The Revenge of Cobra and the official start to the first season was a 5 part story called The Pyramid of Darkness.
