Commissioner Vallejo Jr.

Anybody notice that Principal Folsom used Vallejo's first name....Dutch.

It was the one where Vallejo had to enlist the help of his ex partner to profile the crime....Turns out it was this persons Sister....

where in that do they call him dutch?

reply

"The Shreds Fell Like Snowflakes."

"Dutch" is Vallejo's nickname. His real name was cleverly covered up by microphone feedback. Television writers do things like that all the time on shows ranging from "The Fairly OddParents"(2001) to "Sex and the City" (1998).

I couldn't hear it over the microphone, how do you know it's Dutch?

She mentioned his nickname earlier in that episode, not when she was announcing it.

The "cover up the person's real name and have it be a minor plot point later on" cliche was put to good use in Kill Bill, for a non-animation example.

I remeber that one, it was funny cause I thought she was gonna say his name and I was glued 2 the tv lol.

I have a question about the Commissioner.. how old is he supposed to be?? 'cause at first I was sure he was an adult.. but then the episode with his ex-partner the profiler makes me think again because that guy still lives at home, and plays video games. So how old is he supposed to be?

reply

Replying to this exacly one year after it was posted. lol

he is in 8th grade

reply

Why is his rank only Jr. Commissioner? It's obvious he is the only boss of the Safety Patrol, under the Principal. Shouldn't it be just commissioner or Senior Commissioner?

reply

Just as the US President is always the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, perhaps the principal also holds the title of Commissioner at the middle school???
