The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova

If you liked this movie you should check out a new novel called THE HISTORIAN by Elizabeth Kostova. I just finished it. It was very interesting and gave the reader a huge amount of historical facts about Vlad The Impaler and is also a very entertaining and thrilling book. Kind of like The Davinci Code but for Vampires! This movie really reminds me of that book though!

I'm reading it too, and I really like it. Funny too, because right after I started reading it, a few days later I turned on the TV and Vlad was on.

"Those rascally gays moved our furniture!"

I work in a library and have seen THE HISTORIAN and it looks like quite a book. I will have to purchase some time.

Possibly a better suggestion would be Covenant With a Vampire by Jeanne Kalogridis. It's very well written and full of interesting historical data. Much better than this terrible film was. The story in this movie had potential, but the acting was all over the frickin place. Billy Zane proves once again that he just can not act.

I've just finished reading it and I loved it, one of the best books I have read and since reading it I have become interested in Dracula both the factual and the fictional.

But the only thing I can complain about is the ending, I mean you had been reading these hundreds of pages about them searching for Dracula and when they finally find him he practically dies on the same page. But I guess it was just already too much and you had alredy got to know him (Dracula) by the diary of Rossi while he was trapped in his lair.

MUSIC IS LIFE!!!!
