He was so f-ing hot in this movie. Jus His voice, his eyes, that smile... He is just perfect ! I only WISH I knew a young doctor like him. Omg!

Appearances aside, I've always wondered if he was playing the character straight or tongue-in-cheek? I hope the latter because it makes it funnier.

I think he was playing it totally straight. That's one of the things that made him so appealing-- his earnestness. That wouldnt work if he was tongue in cheek.
