Inuit name tags

A reminder of how modern life imposed itself on the Inuit long ago came when the tags were pulled out when the pilot asked for names. I was intrigued by it, and Wikipedia tells me it was a way to make it easy for 'southerners' to avoid the tricky pronunciation of Inuit names, which were also not structured like ours, and included pagan concepts (important for the missionaries to get rid of and replace with jebus-approved names).
