Scenes and characters left out and re-arranged but still great

I wished more had been added to the film ( and I think it could have despite time limits ), especially Sal and Remi as nightwatchmen near Frisco, time in jazz joints, and more with Terry along with Stan Shepard and others. I also noticed that parts of the movie do not transpire sequentially as they do in the book. That said, it is a great, daring film unafraid to show characters in all their complexity and flaws, not black and white heroes; orgies, menage a tois', stealing, drug abuse, homosexuality and anti-careerism. lol.
