The dvd release in the US has Spanish sub-titles only available...no French. I thought that was unusual. I assume that the release in Spain will coincide with the rest of Europe.

No I've never been to Ireland but I don't see why I can't watch irish films. I love cinema and I don't think that I should refuse to see certain films because of their nationality.Moreover, I'm interested in this film not because it's irish but for Andrea Corr's appearance.
shareThe funny thing is that there is lots of Irish music in Spain.
And not just because of all the Spanish people who come to Ireland to learn English and take it back with him.
It mainly comes from the nation of Galicia which is in the North West of Spain (the bit north of Portugal) but also in other nearby provinces such as Asturias.
They regard themselves as Celts and have culturally much in common with Ireland such as love (and respect) for the sea, rain, poetry, more rain, big families, history of emigration, lots of rivers and mountains. Did I mention rain?
You will hear pipes in particular where ever you go. Google "Carlos Nunez", "Celtas Cortos" and "xose manuel budino" for more.
