filming locations

I can assure you it WAS Liverpool as not only do I live there but I was also an extra in this movie.

I was glad to see that the filming locations were in Liverpool. I am originally from New York City. I recognized the locations for the establishing shots, but not any of the interesting interiors, especially that striking vault where the rigged car was parked. Armand Assante's character acted completely out of character, even for a dying man, when he ran to the woman trapped in the car. Obviously it was rigged, probably with a motion sensor. Stupid, stupid.

It soon became clear who the villain was. So no surprise there. Still it wasn't actually a terrible movie, just not very good. Armand Assante is a good actor and really looked sick in this movie with the stubble, drawn face, cough, etc.
