This movie is proof that there is evil in the world

Now, they don't get much cheesier than Can't Buy Me Love (1987), but there was something....charming about it. Maybe it was Dempsey, maybe it was because it was the 80's, but this movie worked. All this remake business in Hollywood, especially of a movie that was only made 16 years ago. I mean, Jesus. Is originality really dead in Hollywood?
