i disagree i thought that this movie was so great. i mean it's true what they say, how ironic is it that their biological kids wouldn't look after them properly and yet the adopted son did. in indian culture it's "supposed" to be the kids who look after the adults ; but how many times does that actually happen. i'm not saying they had too, but if they didn't want to they could have made better arrangements than spliting them up and not even feeding them. it was heartbreaking, i felt so bad for them. i don't didn't agree how they were all sons however, i think the adopted child should have been a daughter, since in indian culture the reason for having sons is to get them to look after them when their older, implying that women can't look after parents properly. but the way this movie was done i loved it. think about how many times elders get abused, and not only in india, but all around the world. i think this movie depicts what happens in real life more realistically than some movies which show physicall abuse. this is an abuse as well.
