'In Memory of Bruce'

At the end of the film credits the film is dedicted to the memory of Bruce...........
Would this be the actor Bruce Young who played Lucian Harris (the man with the electrodes on his testacles) because looking at his filmography he has only appeared in one other production?
Sorry to be so morbid but does anybody know what happened?
