The title says it all!! I'm love SOAPnet and now they they have have shown the movie twice in 2 months!!
I hope this will generate a DVD release. I could see them doing one of those double feature DVDs with Highschool Reunion and In the Beginning!
I caught the SOAPnet broadcast and it reminded me of this film's tv debut from a few years ago. I think it was a great effort. Sure, it will probably turn off die-hard fans, but I am a fan too. And I thought it was at least something to uphold if only for the sole reason that I don't think we will ever see Kudrow and Sorvino reprise their roles. A "R&M's 20 Year High School Reunion" with those two would be fantastic! But who knows if it would see the light of day! Heck, I would write it if I thought those stars would agree to do it and it would get financing. Anyway, some elements of the televised prequel didn't ring true to the characters necessarily. But I found the movie to be entertaining. And both of the actresses I felt did a fine job. It sure didn't hurt Heigl who had a career prior to this movie and continues to have one grow afterward.
