Salute to Richard Lester

Every time Byron and Kenny walk past the three little old ladies on the park bench, the ladies offer their surprisingly open-minded opinions. It reminded me of the "vox populae" technique offered by Richard Lester in his just-as-crazy-if-heterosexual '60s classic "The Knack (And How to Get It)".

Clever movie. The review on the DVD box says, "Marries Guy Richie - Quentin Tarantino noir to Trainspotting. Great way to put it!
