omg, what the hell, i bet wes craven copied the idea of a half vamp from blade.

Uffizi is a half breed right?

blade is not the only half breed in comics or movies.

I was pretty sure Uffizi was a half breed, but king_of_bob is right he isn't the only half breed.

I don't think he died. They're just leaving everything really open and hanging for the third movie. The ending was more of a "to be continued" thing ala the Back to the Future movies and Matrix reloaded.

i don't think he's a half breed...

i think he may have gotten bite now he fights turning... that's why in the begining he's smoking & in pain in the sunlight

I see him more as a Van Helsing type.... and if this is indeed the sequel. Where is the relative of Helsing's in this one? She was in the first, at the end she vowed to watch the remains... So where's her character now?

He gets scratched in the beginning of the movie, remember? Then he opens his arms to the sun and unexpectedly is unharmed - the sun destroyed the evil in him. Now he has vampiric powers w/o the bloodlust. Case solved.

I believe I read that one of the sub plots is Uffuzi fighting the vampire...whatever they call it in this series (virus, curse, ect). So his time is probably running out.
