I watched both 2 and 3 reciently on FX and I liked them both. It was a solid action movie but I still dont understand what was Father Uffizi? I understand he was charged with killing vampires but was he immortal? Could he not he injured (the scene were he's repenting and hitting himself only to be healed instantly), or was he a kinda vampire himself (scenes in part 3 Legacy)?
At the start of Ascension, he is grazed by a vampire's teeth (I think). Therefore, his infection is small enough to be burned out of him every morning, but it seems it only gets rid of the bloodlust - he still has some vampiric powers, such as the healing you mentioned. He misses his morning purge at the end of Legacy and becomes a full vampire, possibly also inheriting some of Dracula's soul/powers.
I live for two things. 1-science fiction. 2-reruns. (\___/)MAKE BUNNY UR SIG (='.'=) (")_(")
Ha-I didn't know there was a 3rd one. I will have to see if I can find it somewhere to watch. TMC is showing a "marathon" Dracula 2000 and Dracula II over and over-again-this weekend...Seriously, do they not have the rights to any other films? Or however that works...
There is some bizarre allure for the second one-I always need to see that particular bit when Elizabeth transfuses her blood to Dracula and the whole sequence where they are together in front of the castle, rolling around in a bed...and then they show his face. Wowsers...he looks so freakin beautiful. Yeah...there's something compulsory about that scene.
Hahaha I'm watching it too! I just watched the third one which made me WTF at the plot of the second one. I started watching the third one a while back but it was boring..I might have to go finish it.
You would think killing people would make them like you but it doesn't. It just makes them dead.
Oh, come now, enough with the spoiler fetish already! There has to be a statute of limitations on these things. Besides, do you really only watch a movie to see how it ends? Movies are about experiencing a journey, not just reaching a destination. "Sixth Sense" is still great no matter whether you know that Rosebud is his sled.
