What up with Topher's hair?

I couldn't help notice Topher's make-up and his reddish lips. I wonder if they were trying to emphasize the physical similarities between the two characters and Topher's high hair is to match Mr Duhamel's very large forehead.

I actually liked it a lot better than how it was on That 70's Show, lol (the only other thing I've ever seen him in). The hair and the glasses made him look totally different.
