This definately deserves a Sequel!

So I just re-watched this movie, and I still think it's brilliant! I'm surprised there hasn't been a sequel to it, it certainly deserves one!

I would be 1st in line for a sequel but I would be so let down if it wasn't good because it one of my top 10 favorite comedies of all time.. So damn funny.. DO IT.. DO IT.. The remake that is !!!

This has been discussed on another thread. The film did well, but it wasn't the massive hit it should of been.

Owen Wilson also poured cold water on the idea in 2005.

The actor also spoke a little about Shanghai Dawn - another sequel to Shanghai Noon - and Starsky and Hutch 2. "Doesn't look like they're happening, but you never know."

It's been ten years now, so if it hasn't happened by now it probably won't happen.

Hey it took them 20 years to make another Dumb and Dumber. Maybe not the best analogy...but different enough types of humor I can see it working. At least on the level of if you liked the first one you'll like the second one.

There are plenty of films with sequels that weren't massive hits. I would love one.
