I can't believe that people didn't think this movie was good let alone GREAT. It's probably on my top 10 comedies of all time . It is hysterical and I think people just took it to seriously. In my opinion if you didn't find this movie funny let alone HYSTERICAL than you must not have a sense of humor.. Well done and a 10 from me all the way.. DO IT.. DO IT !!

I accidentally end up in this imdb page once a year or so, and I'm always extremely disappointed that so many people hate this movie.
Maybe the plot wasn't that good and maybe this doesn't honor the original series much, but...BUT the movie is one hilarious scene after another with great, witty, dialog. The characters and actors work really well together and the comedy seems improvy at times, which I love.
This is easily one of my favourite comedies of all time.
Starsky and Hutch has everything: comedy, action, babes, drugs, dance-off, car stunts, more comedy, totally awesome soundtrack, tons of great lines, awesome actor pairing and of course the friggin' Snoop Dogg.

sharei know i know!! The thing is, half the posters aren't even aware that it is a clever parody and seem to think it is a remake.
They even don't get Glaser and Souls cameo at the end.
