The late Mr. Munson's painting

Is the painting actually supposed to be based on someone in the movie production, or the producers' acquaintences, or someone connected with the film studio? Sometimes movies put in that sort of gag. It's great how the painting seems to change expressions based on what's going on in the home. Very funny.
