When the Professor presents the plan and introduces the gang members to each other he refers to Gawain as their proverbial "inside man", explicitly air quoting the quotation marks. Later apologizing to his boss for commenting on a female customer's behind Gawain asks his boss to imagine what it's like to walk in his shoes and explains: "See, Mr. Gudge, there's the custodian, right? And then there's the man inside the custodian. And that's the *beep* we got a problem with. See, cause that man, he got needs, Mr. Gudge, and normally those needs gotta do with women with big asses." A play on the term "inside man" giving the Professor's earlier air quotes an ironic meaning which is emphasized when in the very next scene Garth asks Gawain to spritz his awfully hot drill bit down and Gawain replies "*beep* you! I ain't your *beep* house *beep*. I'm the inside man!" browsing a magazine supposedly showcasing women's asses.
