Godsend isn't the best film in terms of originality and acting, but it's certainly not the worst I've seen.
Did find it a bit strange how such a superior actor in Robert de Niro would sign for this film though...
There are many movies that are total crap which have good actors. Besides, a good character by one actor cannot help a crap movie

No it wasn't that bad. A least half of IMDb board participants are excessively harsh with most films. While this film isn't award winning, I found it to be interesting. Some people on IMDb hate 80% of everything they see, and I like about 80% of what I see. But I'm not the type that walks around angry all the time either, so frame of mind is appropriate to the film's plot, and ironically from board commenters as well.
Robert de Niro played a deceptive and manipulative doctor, so I know why he took this role.
